Halloween

Sophia had the cutest cat costume for Halloween. I thought when I bought it that it would be too big for her, but it fit perfect. We also put her in a pumpkin costume that my little brothers said she had to wear. They said it's a tradition. It was a bit big but we had to for the boys.

Pumpkin Patch

Our first adventure out in public was to the pumpkin patch...which is conveniently located right down the street from our house. The Carroll's let us tag along with them for the day. Sophia got her first pumpkin and when we got home to take some pictures she was pooped.

First bath

Okay so Shawn and I were super excited to give Sophia her first bath. All the nurses in the hospital kept telling us that she would love it and it would calm her etc. Plus our friends that have kids always say how much their children enjoy taking baths. Well....we were in for a big surprise when Sophia screamed almost the entire time. Shawn and I felt so bad that it was such an unpleasant experience for her. She has since started to enjoy it, but still screams a little at the end. Hopefully she will learn to enjoy it. Maybe a little space heater will be needed for when she gets out.

Her Room

Just one week before Sophia arrived we decided to set up her crib. It was a very challenging project. I was not in the best of moods and was freaking out about hanging things on perfectly straight. Everthing worked out in the end and her crib looks fantastic. Before we took the sheets off to wash them we let Ransom check things out first. He is the cutest dog ever.

Sophia meets the Kids

My younger brothers and sisters were not allowed in the hospital after Sophia was born. We were in the hospital for almost a week and it was so hard for me to hold off on letting them meet her. So as soon as I was up to it we went out to Saratoga and the kids got to meet her for the first time. It was so hard for me to not cry. They were all so sweet and excited.

The looks on thier faces were priceless.

Miss Sophia Ronnelle

We have been blessed with the most precious little angel. We welcomed our daughter Sophia into this world on October 13 at 6:35 am. After almost twenty four hours of very anxious labor we finally got to meet our 9 lb 3 oz baby girl. I ended up having a c-section so Shawn and I had to stay in the hospital for five long days. I enjoyed my time there...I got lots of attention and much needed rest. Shawn on the other hand was ready to go home after a couple of days.

We are so excited to start our new life with our beautiful daughter. She is so good to us already. She only gets up a few times in the middle of the night and is such a great snuggler. I am going to try and keep up with all of her milestones and most adorable moments.
