Summer Fun

This was such a great day. We had my brothers over plus the Santos kids and Kayla. The boys are so good with the little kids. They are got along so well and had a great time. I just love watching my brothers be the "big" kids because at their house they are the babies.

These little girls are so funny when they are together. Kayla always insists that they wear the same thing. Here are a few examples of when this occurs. =)

Bella's Bday party

We headed to Fremont to celebrate Bella's birthday. They have an awesome water slide they rent and the kids love it. Sophia was not very into this idea, but she loved the little pool. She also loves her cousin Dylan. Every time he is around she is his little shadow. It is so cute to see how he takes care of her and is so gentle.

Silly Girl

Some days I am glad we do not venture out in public. The outfits Sophia wears when we are just staying home are pretty funny. She thought she was super cute in her tall blue socks and no pants.

Easter '11

My mom and Mark came down before Easter this year to give Sophia her much anticipated Mooma Easter basket. My mom has been giving us these awesome baskets forever and the tradition continues. Sophia took her time and looked at each item. She really does make people feel special. After that we went outside and played bubbles. She always enjoys her time with them.

The Aunts and Uncles Visit Livermore

My little brothers and sisters came over to our new house for the weekend. We all had so much fun running around with Sophia in the backyard, playing Rock Band, and eating junk food. It was so nice to have them all over. Sophia just loves them to pieces.

18 months!

Sophia has been growing up way too fast. She is more of big girl these days then mom's little baby. =( Here are some of the things she has been up to:

* She is wearing a size 5 diaper, 3T clothes, and 6 1/2 in shoes.

* I can finally put a large amount of hair into a ponytail not on the top of her head.

* She knows all kinds of animal sounds
-dog, kitty, birdie, rooster, cow, horse, pig, sheep, monkey, elephant, lion, owl

* She has learned to say please for things, after we suggest it of course.

* She loves to slide down slides, even though she has stuck a landing yet.

* There is not much this kid will not eat...except for lettuce, she is not a fan. She must get that from her Auntie KiKi.

* She still loves to be snuggled when she is tired.

* When you ask her where someone is she responds, "ohhh noooo". Translation: I don't know!

* She loves watching Dora, Yo Gabba Gabba, Elmo's World, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She askes for "Dorie dor" and Gabba gabb" by name.
